Town park on East Kiowa Avenue with a stage, picnic tables and a walking and bike path, on the Running Creek trail toward Evans Park; the summer Friday Night Market sets up here on Fridays.
A Town park on East Kiowa Avenue with a stage, five picnic tables and a walk and bike path, kept by the Town’s Public Works department. The Town lists the Running Creek Park Trail System at the same address: it runs from Running Creek Elementary to Evans Park along the town’s southeastern boundary, with several places to join it, and the Town’s page carries a map of the route. Evans Park and Casey Jones Park belong to the separate Elizabeth Park & Recreation District.
In summer the Elizabeth Brewing Company holds its free Friday Night Market here every Friday, with local vendors and food trucks from 5 pm and live music from 6 pm.
The amenities, the trail route and the Public Works phone were read on the Town’s Parks and Trails page on 10 October 2026, and the market’s times on the brewery’s market schedule page the same day. The guide had cited a Douglas County Social feature for this park while the Town’s site refused automated reads; the Town’s page answered today.
