Evans Park

The Park & Rec District’s other park, and the one most families use: a splash pad, a skate park of metal ramps and rails with a wooden half-pipe on approximately 3,000 feet of concrete, open any daylight hour to boards, bikes, scooters and skates; a playground with a small structure for ages two to five and a larger one for six to twelve, with swings and a net climb spinner added in 2024; two pickleball courts west of the splash pad; two lighted ball fields and two multi-use fields; a seasonal snack shack; and Dragonfly Pond, a small fishing pond stocked with trout each year by Colorado Parks and Wildlife, where a trail loop of about a third of a mile begins and ends. Leashed dogs anywhere except the fields and the splash pad.
