The Elizabeth branch of Pines & Plains Libraries is the busiest public room in town: a meeting room for up to 31 people, and a calendar that runs most days — story time on Monday and Wednesday mornings at 10, book clubs, Yarning for All for knitters and crocheters (beginners taught), a curiosity club for ages 6 to 12, a heritage crew and a free art class on the first Friday of the month. Open Monday to Saturday, until 8 pm Monday to Thursday.
